Reefer Madness

O.K. here's my Skynyrd story, y'all.
I first seen Lynyrd Skynyrd in Detroit Michigan back on June 30, 1976. I was not familiar with them yet, with the exception of their hit Sweet Home Alabama. I expected a twangy little 3 piece band or something like that. Boy was I surprised.
All through the show the crowd kept chanting what I thought was "Reefer, Reefer, Reefer!." When the band came out for a final encore the crowd went wild as the piano began the intro for Freebird.
I thought to myself. "This must be Reefer!"
34 years later, Bangor Maine, August 5, 2010.
I was prepared, chanting...
"Reefer, Reefer, Reefer!"
They did not disappoint!
