I took these pics in 2005. That was the last time I was home.
It still looks the same as it did 30 years ago.

You can Swim it, Fish it, Drink it, and it's also full of watercress. (Edible)

Thanks Dandy,

When I visit in summer I fly down that road on my mt. bike, It's a little faster coming from the Bellaire side toward where the photographer is standing then going toward Bellaire ... But either way it's always the highlight of the ride. In winter when I ski there, I park just a little ways down, then take a right into the forest. Nowdays there is this big private hunting club back there, but still there is a lot of public land where I can ski. The snowmobilers can kiss my ass, but sometimes, I admit, they pack the snow down to make skiing a little faster.

Thanks, Dandy!!! It almost hurts not to be able to get on the mt. bike, and make that easy 4 mile ride from my mom's house down to where these photos were snapped.

It's gorgeous! There's nothing quite like water and trees is there?

Thanks for stopping by with your good wishes - very kind you are, to zombies.
